A boutique firm based in Washington DC, NextGen Property Management offers full-service management and maintenance. We handle a mix of affordable and market-rate properties, adhering to stringent criteria to ensure excellence.

NEXTGEN 21st Century Funding (Founded in 2019):

21st Century Funding specializes in innovative financial solutions for real estate projects, including construction partnerships for redevelopment, project funding packaging, private investments, and portfolio restructuring.

Brian Brown International profile.

Mr. Brown was born in the State of Wisconsin and he has been a resident of Washington DC for 35 years. Mr. Brown graduated in 1988 in a BA from Marquette University. From 1988 until 2000 Mr. Brown worked at Dimension Enterprises an Internet Engineering Consulting to Firm. In 2000 Mr. Brown sold his interest in Dimension to Nortel Networks. At that time he made his 12 year hobby of purchasing, renovating and renting or selling properties in Washington DC a business called Nextgen. Under Mr. Brown, Nextgen construction has been involved development or renovation of hundreds of Property. Under Mr. Brown grew the rental asset portfolio under Nextgen Property Management by 50 Million. Since 2010 Mr. Brown splits his time between Washington DC and Caberete/Sosua Dominican Republic. In the Dominican Republic Mr. Brown has been involved Acquisition of Apartments, Financing Properties, Construction of houses, and Sale of residential assets.

Mr. Brown is fluent in Spanish and English.

Board Member

Serena Brown is on the Boards of Nextgen Development, Nextgen Property Management and Nextgen Construction since 2018. Ms. Brown has 8 years experience in Construction and Property Management and a Business Degree from Eckert University.

Louise D'Costa

Vice President of Property Management

Louise has a degree in hotel and restaurant management. Mrs D'Costa has been with Nextgen Property Management since 2002. Her department oversees all of rentals, and tenant relations. Mrs. D'Costa also sits on the advisory board of Nextgen Development.

Pedro Webster

Jens Pydde's journey from Germany to the Dominican Republic thirty years ago marked the beginning of a transformative career that would impact various sectors on the north coast, from telecommunications to real estate and social entrepreneurship. Initially setting foot in the Dominican Republic with a vision to innovate, Jens established a small internet communication center that laid the groundwork for what would become a pioneering communication franchise, French Telecom, now known as Altice.

Jens Pydde

Notable figure in the Dominican Republic's business and communications sector, embarked on a significant life journey over three decades ago. Originally from Germany, where he obtained a degree in logistics with a focus on freight forwarding, Haaka decided to follow in the footsteps of his brother Jens, who had moved to the Dominican Republic a year earlier. Haaka's early career in the communications sector was marked by significant accomplishments, including managing, serving as the operating manager, and becoming a part-owner of the franchises for French Telecom and Altice. His success in these roles demonstrated his aptitude for leadership and strategic business management.
